Disaster Relief Fund

The United Way Disaster Relief Fund Team is reviewing applications for Disaster Relief Reimbursement.  Please submit your expense reimbursement request to director@unitedwayofwilson.org via email. The recovery process will be a long process, so please keep in contact with the United Way on your financial needs. We are only reimbursing organizations that are providing services to those receiving assistance after a disaster.  
The Disaster Relief Fund is here to help all disaster relief organizations that do not have disaster relief funds available, but who are providing assistance to Wilson County residents.
We are reviewing reimbursement expenses for aid to Hurricane Matthew victims – lodging, food, clothing, repairs, clean-up… where FEMA was not able to assist. Documentation will be requested prior to reimbursement, nonprofits must have a 501 (c)(3) active status and a certified audit.
