What a first run!
On Saturday, Oct. 24, nearly 200 runners and walkers laced up for the inaugural United We Run 5K, and together we made it one to remember!
Participants made history as some of the first to start and finish near home plate inside the brand-new Wilson Ballpark, home of the Wilson Warbirds. From there, the course carried them past the Vollis Simpson Whirligig Park and through the heart of historic downtown Wilson. There were costumes, cheering crowds, and plenty of smiles along the way.
Every dollar raised supported our United We Care programs, which help lift families out of poverty and build a stronger Wilson County for all.
