A White Flag Shelter is a temporary emergency shelter that opens during dangerously cold weather.

How Can You Help?

  • Spiritually - Pray for shelter guests and volunteers. Share updates with your church.
  • Financially - Donate funds or items for meals, cots, blankets and operations
  • Physically - Volunteer for shifts (setup, meals, guest support)

We Need Volunteers!

  • Adults 21+, background screening and volunteer training required
  • Evening setup and guest check-in
  • Overnight support and hospitality
  • Morning clean-up and shelter breakdown
     

Winter 2025-26 Statistics

  • 40 + partner agencies and committee members
  • 1 White Flag Shelter Night
  • 23 warming station nights
  • 28 visitors=39 visits
  • 26 nights of shelter provided
  • 37 volunteers, representing 133 volunteer nights
  • Training sessions for volunteers: Mobile crisis, De-escalation, Naloxone and Shelter
